Ingredients

1 pound chicken tenders

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 egg, beaten

1 cup panko breadcrumbs

1 tablespoon vegetable oil (for frying)

For the Sauce:

1/3 cup honey

1/4 cup Sriracha sauce

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon rice vinegar

1 teaspoon sesame oil

1 teaspoon minced garlic

Optional garnish: Sesame seeds and chopped green onions

Instructions

Prepare the Chicken:

    - Pat the chicken tenders dry with paper towels. This will help the coating adhere better.

      Set Up Dredging Station:

        - In a shallow bowl, mix together flour, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.

          - In a second bowl, beat the egg.

            - Place panko breadcrumbs in a third bowl.

              Coat the Chicken:

                - Dredge each chicken tender in the seasoned flour, shaking off the excess.

                  - Dip the floured chicken into the beaten egg, allowing any excess to drip off.

                    - Finally, coat the chicken in panko breadcrumbs, pressing gently to ensure an even coating.

                      Fry the Chicken:

                        - In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, carefully add the chicken tenders in batches, making sure not to overcrowd the pan.

                          - Fry for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F). Remove the chicken tenders from the skillet and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.

                            Make the Sauce:

                              - In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine honey, Sriracha, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and minced garlic. Stir until well combined and bring to a gentle simmer. Cook for around 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.

                                Combine Chicken and Sauce:

                                  - In a large mixing bowl, toss the cooked chicken tenders in the sticky Sriracha honey sauce until they are evenly coated.

                                    Serve:

                                      - Arrange the sticky chicken tenders on a platter. Drizzle with any remaining sauce and garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions if desired. Serve warm!
