Ingredients

1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined

2 tablespoons olive oil

4 tablespoons honey

3 tablespoons Sriracha sauce

2 tablespoons soy sauce

2 tablespoons lime juice (freshly squeezed)

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon ginger, grated

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 teaspoon sesame seeds (for garnish)

2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare the Marinade: In a mixing bowl, whisk together the honey, Sriracha sauce, soy sauce, lime juice, minced garlic, and grated ginger until well combined. This will be your delicious marinade.

Marinate the Shrimp: Add the shrimp to the marinade and gently toss to coat them evenly. Cover and let the shrimp marinate in the refrigerator for at least 20 minutes (up to 1 hour for more intense flavor).

Cook the Shrimp: In a large skillet or wok, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, add the marinated shrimp (reserve the marinade) and sauté for about 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and opaque.

Glaze the Shrimp: Pour the reserved marinade into the skillet with the shrimp. Stir and cook for an additional 3-5 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken and the flavors to meld. Make sure the shrimp is fully coated in the glaze.

Finish and Serve: Season with salt and pepper to taste. Remove from heat and transfer the shrimp to a serving platter. Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions for a burst of freshness.

Enjoy: Serve your Spicy Sriracha Honey Glazed Shrimp over rice, quinoa, or a bed of mixed greens for a complete meal.
