4 bone-in pork chops (about 1-inch thick)

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried)

1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried)

Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

Juice of 1 lemon

Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Instructions
 

Preparation of Pork Chops:

    - Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels. This ensures a good sear. Season generously on both sides with salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika.

      Sear the Pork Chops:

        - In a large cast-iron skillet or heavy-bottomed pan, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the pork chops. Sear until golden-brown, about 4-5 minutes on each side. Remove the chops from the skillet and set aside.

          Make the Garlic Butter:

            - In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium. Add the butter. Once it melts, add the minced garlic, rosemary, and thyme. Sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant, taking care not to burn the garlic.
