1 cup buttermilk

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 cups fresh peaches, diced (about 3 medium peaches)

1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)

1/4 cup brown sugar (for topping)

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners or grease the pan.

    Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon until well combined.
