Ingredients

1 pound ground beef (or turkey)

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper to taste

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

4 large flour tortillas

1 cup shredded lettuce

1 medium tomato, diced

1/2 cup pickles, sliced

1/4 cup ketchup

1/4 cup mustard

Cooking spray or olive oil for frying

Instructions

Prepare the Filling: In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, breaking it into small pieces as it cooks. Drain any excess fat.

Season the Meat: Stir in the Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the spices are well combined and the meat is fully cooked. Remove from heat.

Assemble the Tortilla Pockets: Lay a tortilla flat on a clean surface. In the center of the tortilla, add about 1/4 cup of the cooked meat mixture. Sprinkle with a generous amount of cheddar cheese. Top with a little shredded lettuce, diced tomato, and a few pickle slices. Drizzle with ketchup and mustard.

Fold and Seal: Carefully fold in the sides of the tortilla, then roll it up from the bottom to create a pocket. Make sure to tuck in the filling as you roll. You can secure it with a toothpick if needed.

Cook the Tortilla Pockets: Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add a bit of cooking spray or olive oil. Place the filled tortilla pockets seam side down in the skillet. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and crispy.

Serve: Remove the tortilla pockets from the skillet and let them cool for a minute. Slice them in half if desired, and serve with extra ketchup and mustard on the side for dipping.
