Ingredients

2 cups of plain Greek yogurt

1 cup of fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced

2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (adjust based on sweetness preference)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup of your favorite cereal (e.g., granola or puffed rice)

1/4 cup mini chocolate chips (optional, for added sweetness)

Fresh mint leaves (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Strawberries: In a medium bowl, mix the sliced strawberries with 1 tablespoon of honey or maple syrup. Set aside for about 15 minutes to marinate, allowing the strawberries to release their juices.

Mix the Yogurt: In a large mixing bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, remaining tablespoon of honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract. Stir until smooth and well combined.

Combine Ingredients: Gently fold the marinated strawberries into the yogurt mixture. Make sure to reserve some strawberries for topping later.

Prepare the Cereal Base: If using granola, crush it slightly for smaller pieces. In small silicone molds or ice cube trays, spoon a layer of the yogurt-strawberry mixture until they’re about halfway full, then add a layer of cereal on top. Press down slightly to ensure the cereal adheres.

Layering: Spoon in more yogurt-strawberry mixture until the molds are filled to the top. Optionally, sprinkle a few mini chocolate chips on top for extra sweetness.

Freeze: Place the molds in the freezer and allow to freeze for at least 4 hours or until completely firm.

Serve: To serve, remove the frozen yogurt rounds from the molds by gently pushing from the bottom. If they are stuck, run the bottom under warm water for a few seconds to loosen. Top each round with the reserved strawberry slices and a mint leaf, if using.

Enjoy: Enjoy these refreshing Frozen Yogurt Strawberry Cereal Rounds as a fun snack or dessert!
