Ingredients

2 medium ripe bananas

1 cup vanilla yogurt (or Greek yogurt for extra creaminess)

½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1 cup almond flour (or any flour of your choice)

1/4 cup maple syrup (or honey)

1 tsp vanilla extract

1/4 tsp salt

1/2 cup dark chocolate chips (for dipping)

2 tbsp coconut oil (to help with melting the chocolate)

Sprinkles or crushed nuts (for topping, optional)

Popsicle sticks

Instructions

Prepare the Brownie Base:

    - In a medium bowl, combine the almond flour, cocoa powder, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix well until you have a thick brownie batter consistency.

      Create the Pops:

        - Cut the bananas in half and insert a popsicle stick into each half carefully. Lay them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

          Coat the Bananas:

            - Dip each banana half into the brownie batter until well coated. You can use a spoon to help spread the batter evenly. Return the coated bananas to the lined baking sheet.

              Freeze:

                - Place the baking sheet in the freezer for about 1-2 hours, or until the brownie coating is firm.

                  Prepare Chocolate Dip:

                    - In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the dark chocolate chips and coconut oil. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until melted and smooth.

                      Dip the Frozen Pops:

                        - Once the banana pops are firm, dip each one into the melted chocolate until fully covered. Allow the excess chocolate to drip off.

                          Add Toppings (Optional):

                            - While the chocolate is still wet, sprinkle with your choice of sprinkles or crushed nuts for added texture and flavor.

                              Final Freeze:

                                - Return the chocolate-dipped banana pops to the baking sheet and freeze again for about 30 minutes, until the chocolate is set.

                                  Serve:

                                    - Once fully frozen, remove the pops from the baking sheet and serve immediately, or store them in an airtight container in the freezer for later enjoyment.

Prep Time: 15 minutes | Total Time: 3 hours | Servings: 4 (2 pops each)
