Ingredients

4 salmon fillets (6 ounces each)

1 lb fresh asparagus, trimmed

3 tablespoons olive oil

2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

1 tablespoon lemon zest

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon dried thyme

1 teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon black pepper

Lemon wedges for serving

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a large sheet pan with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

Prepare the Marinade: In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, minced garlic, oregano, thyme, salt, and pepper.

Marinate Salmon: Place the salmon fillets on one side of the sheet pan. Brush them generously with the lemon herb marinade, ensuring each fillet is well-coated. Allow to marinate while you prepare the asparagus.

Asparagus Preparation: On the other side of the sheet pan, arrange the trimmed asparagus. Drizzle with any remaining marinade and toss to coat.

Bake: Place the sheet pan in the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and the asparagus is tender yet crisp.

Serve: Remove from the oven and garnish with freshly chopped parsley and lemon wedges. Serve immediately while hot.

Enjoy: Pair this dish with a side of rice, quinoa, or a fresh salad for a full meal.
