Ingredients

10 large jalapeño peppers

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/4 cup chopped green onions

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

1/2 tsp smoked paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

1 cup breadcrumbs (panko preferred for extra crunch)

2 tbsp olive oil or melted butter

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with cooking spray.

Prepare the Jalapeños: Carefully slice each jalapeño in half lengthwise. Use a small spoon or a jalapeño corer to remove the seeds and membranes. This will help reduce heat levels, so adjust to your preference.

Make the Filling: In a medium mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar, grated Parmesan, chopped green onions, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix until all ingredients are well incorporated and creamy.

Stuff the Jalapeños: Using a small spoon, generously fill each jalapeño half with the cheese mixture. Make sure to pack it in well for maximum flavor!

Prepare the Topping: In a small bowl, mix the breadcrumbs with olive oil or melted butter, ensuring that the breadcrumbs are well-coated for an even crispy texture.

Top and Bake: Place the stuffed jalapeños on the prepared baking sheet and sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture evenly over each.

Bake Them Up: Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the jalapeños are tender and the tops are golden and crispy.

Serve: Remove from the oven and allow to cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy them warm with your favorite dipping sauce, such as ranch or a spicy salsa!

Prep Time: 15 minutes | Total Time: 40 minutes | Servings: 20 poppers (10 jalapeños halved)
