2 tablespoons olive oil

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 tablespoons unsalted butter

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and black pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

Cook the Linguine: In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the linguine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain the pasta and set aside, reserving a cup of pasta water.

Sauté the Shrimp: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the shrimp, seasoned with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until shrimp are pink and opaque. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.

Make the Alfredo Sauce: In the same skillet, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. Stir in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Reduce heat to low and add the grated Parmesan cheese, whisking until melted and smooth.

Combine Ingredients: Add the cooked linguine and sautéed shrimp into the skillet with the Alfredo sauce. Toss to combine, adding reserved pasta water as needed to reach desired consistency.

Serve: Garnish the creamy shrimp Alfredo linguine with freshly chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges on the side for a delightful tang.
