Ingredients

2 cups ziti pasta

2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

2 tablespoons olive oil

Salt and pepper to taste

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning

3 cups heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup ricotta cheese

3 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

Cook the Pasta: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the ziti pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Prepare the Chicken: While the pasta is cooking, season the chicken breasts with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side until fully cooked through and golden brown. Remove from heat and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing into bite-sized pieces.

Make the Alfredo Sauce: In a large saucepan, pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a gentle simmer over medium-low heat. Whisk in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Stir in the ricotta cheese until well combined, and season with salt and pepper to taste. If you like a bit of kick, add the red pepper flakes.

Combine Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked ziti, sliced chicken, and Alfredo sauce. Gently toss until the noodles and chicken are fully coated.

Add Cheese: Transfer the mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the top.

Bake: Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.

Serve and Garnish: Remove from the oven and let it sit for 5 minutes. Before serving, sprinkle fresh parsley on top for a touch of color and flavor.
