Ingredients

4 large flour tortillas

1 cup pizza sauce (plus extra for dipping)

2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup pepperoni slices (or your choice of toppings: bell peppers, olives, etc.)

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1 tablespoon olive oil

Optional: crushed red pepper flakes for extra spice

Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Prepare the Tortillas: Lay out the tortillas on a clean, flat surface. Brush each tortilla lightly with olive oil to help them crisp up during baking.

Spread the Sauce: Evenly spread about ¼ cup of pizza sauce over each tortilla, leaving a small border around the edges.

Add Cheese & Toppings: Sprinkle a generous amount of shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce. Then, layer on your pepperoni, along with any other desired toppings (like peppers, olives, or mushrooms). Sprinkle with Italian seasoning for added flavor.

Roll Them Up: Starting from one end, carefully roll each tortilla tightly into a wrap. Make sure the filling stays inside, but don’t worry if some oozes out.

Bake the Roll-Ups: Place the roll-ups seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the tops lightly with olive oil and sprinkle with additional Italian seasoning, if desired.

Bake: Bake in the oven for approximately 15-20 minutes, or until the tortillas are golden and crispy and the cheese is melted.

Cool and Cut: Remove from the oven and allow to cool for a few minutes. Slice each roll-up into pinwheels or halves for easy eating.

Serve: Serve the roll-ups warm with extra pizza sauce on the side for dipping. Garnish with fresh basil leaves if you like!
