Instructions

Prep the Apples:

    - Preheat your oven to 200°F (93°C).

      - Wash and dry the apples thoroughly. Slice them thinly (about 1/8 inch thick) using a sharp knife or mandoline.

        - As you cut each slice, soak them briefly in a bowl of water mixed with lemon juice to prevent browning.

          Season the Chips:

            - Place the apple slices on a parchment-lined baking sheet in a single layer.

              - In a small bowl, mix together the cinnamon, sugar (if using), and salt. Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the apple slices.

                Bake the Chips:

                  - Bake in the preheated oven for 1.5 to 2 hours or until the apple slices are dry and crisp. Flip them halfway through baking for even crispiness. Keep an eye on them towards the end to avoid burning.

                    Make the Peanut Butter Dip:

                      - In a mixing bowl, combine the peanut butter, Greek yogurt, honey (or maple syrup), vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt.

                        - Mix well until it is smooth and creamy. Adjust sweetness according to taste.

                          Serve:

                            - Once the apple chips are baked and cooled, serve them alongside the peanut butter dip in a lovely bowl. Enjoy snacking!
